A reflection on how the practice of ombudsing is different than mediation, although, the two belong to the same family of dispute resolution. Written in the years where I worked in an Ombuds office post graduate school, seeking a way to grow my creative dreams. This paper was accept to the Harvard Law Negotiation Journal, with the stipulation that it be greatly shortened. I did not, at that time, have the know how of how to reduce this work to two pages.
